Gym Flooring

Lately it seems my 4 month old son is bored. He just kinda looks around and ends up falling asleep a lot during the day. I pick him up and talk to him and tickle him and he laughs of course. But of course I can’t do it all the time. He isnt really interested in rattles or his floor gym. Maybe everythings ok and this is normal, I dont know…I just feel like I could be doing something else to make him happy and not sleep all the time. Btw he sleeps all night also.

He only wants to cuddle, which is really sweet. I just worry about his cognitive development.

I have a 2 month old little girl who LOVES to have mommy and daddy’s constant attention. I would LOVE to be able to play with her all day however I do have 4 other kids in my in-home daycare AND her almost 4 year old brother to care for too. She doesn’t really need held but wants someone to entertain her (talk to her, shake rattles…) I have good bouncy seat that she likes but she really likes to lay on the floor…SO I was hoping someone could recommend a good activity gym for her to lay under, she really like things that light up, play music or move…does anyone know the best ones and where I can find them?

I don’t know what they are called, so I am guessing play gym (it sounds right….) The thing you lay on the floor and baby lays on it and it has toys etc. If you have one, is it worth buying? My daughter will be 6 weeks old tomorrow.
